How do you receive a medical marijuana prescription in Texas?It's easy!
All you need to do is have these 4 things!
Have one or more approved qualifying conditions.
Have a valid photo ID issued by the state of Texas, or any photo ID and with proof of residency.
Have access to a private email and have the ability to submit your medical records to our office.
Have the ability to meet with one of our participating compassionate us registry of Texas physicians, either in-clinic or virtually.

Our founder, Mr. Ratcliff, is a nurse himself and has seen firsthand the benefits that medical marijuana can provide. We strive to provide the highest quality of service to our patients, so that they can get the help they need. Before TXMMD, Mr. Ratcliff was owner and director of Wellness Pain & Associates for 18 years providing outpatient chronic pain management to patients primarily in motor vehicle accidents and on the job injuries through various modalities. The company grew from 2 employees initially to 16 to include on site physicians, nurse practitioners, licensed physical and massage therapists, and registered nurses to help facilitate medical services in injury rehabilitation for acute injuries.
Since entering, Mr. Ratcliff has been dedicated to creating important relationships in the medical marijuana sector. He is committed to help educate patients on qualifications as well, physicians who are still very trepidatious with regards to helping qualify for alternative treatments. He has worked hard to provide the best care and resources for his patients, and is committed to helping them find out if medical marijuana is a good treatment for them. Board-certified in Family Medicine since 2018, Dr. Sintim brings a wealth of experience from both Texas and Louisiana. He completed his residency at Louisiana State University’s program in Bogalusa and has since served in various clinical roles, including as a hospitalist in Lake Charles and currently in Houston, Texas. In addition, he serves as Medical Director for a home hospice organization, further extending his commitment to patient-centered care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sintim has treated patients with a broad range of chronic and complex medical conditions. This has deepened his understanding of the limitations and side effects often associated with conventional pharmaceuticals. Witnessing the positive impact of medical THC on patient outcomes—particularly in terms of symptom relief without the burdensome side effects—has fueled his advocacy for medical cannabis as a viable treatment option.
Dr. Sintim is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for his patients and is proud to collaborate with TXMMD in delivering safe, effective, and holistic care.
