I joined the military in May of 2019 and went to basic training at Fort Jackson. In August I shipped off to Fort Gordon for 17E school. After I was sent to airborne school where I watched my stick leader die due to a malfunction of both main and reserve chute. My next jump I broke my leg requiring major surgery (IM nail fibula). After that I was sent over to 1ST CAV 3 BEB at Fort Hood where i awaited my discharge. I now suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression, sleep disruption and joint pain.
